Honduras Consulate in McAllen – Important Tips
Before visiting, review the requirements for the exact service you selected. Passports, DNI services, civil registrations, and notarial documents have different document requirements.
1. Check Whether Your Service Requires an Appointment
For services handled by appointment, book through CitaConsular and keep the confirmation. Do not assume that every formal consular procedure is available as a walk-in; confirm any exception directly with the office.
2. Bring Complete Documentation
Present the original documents required for the procedure and bring copies when the service instructions request them. Check names, dates, and identity numbers before leaving home.
3. Verify the Payment Method
Check the current fee and payment instructions for your specific procedure. Do not assume cash is accepted and do not prepare payment based only on older information.
4. Allow Enough Time
The length of the visit depends on the procedure, document review, and the number of people being served. Avoid scheduling an immediate commitment after your consular appointment.
5. Use the Current Contact Details
For general inquiries, use (956) 627-1210 or (956) 322-5258. The official email currently published by the Embassy is consulado.mcallen@sreci.gob.hn.
